Otiyot Hayyot – Hebrew Letter Movements for Healing and Renewal.
Learn to embody the deep wisdom of the Torah and Jewish practice through the gentle, integrative movements of Otiyot Hayyot (Living Letters). Jewish tradition teaches that each letter of the Alef-Bet is a specific channel for the Infinite One to manifest in our finite world of multiplicity. By embodying Hebrew letters in movement a person can access the vital energy and healing powers of each letter's distinct channel. Combining the movement patterns of the letters into word dances not only brings serenity to both mover and observer, but also allows the verbal teachings of our tradition to become alive in a non-verbal way and to carry us back to our spiritual sources, including the teachings of Kabbalah.
