From Ben Gurion Airport to Tzfat

Fastest and easiest way is to take the train from the airport (bottom floor) to Tzfat 

• Take the train to Acco (just north of Haifa). 
• Walk out of the train station and turn right.
• Bus stop for bus #361 is in front of the train station.
• Bus runs directly to Tzfat every half hour  
• Last bus leaving for Tzfat from Akko is 10:30 PM.
  You need to be on the train by 7:30 PM to make the 10:30p.m. bus to Tzfat from Akko.

Alternately, you can take the train to Carmiel (which involves a transfer in one of the Haifa stations. Carmiel is closer to Tzfat.

Train Travel

The nearest train station to Tzfat is in Carmiel. You can take a train to either Acco or Carmiel and then get on the 361 bus (bus stop is right outside the train station in both locations) to Tzfat. The 361 runs every half hour till approximately 9:00p.m.

Buses

All buses into and out of Tzfat except the Safed-Tiberias bus) are operated by the Nateeve Express Bus Company. You can call 1-599-559-559 for schedule information or call the central number for Israeli bus information at *8787.

• Jerusalem - Tzfat -- Buses 982, 992, 993 from Jerusalem every 2 hours, starting 9:00a.m., return from Tzfat every 2 hours, starting 8:00a.m.
