What Synagogues Are Open on Shabbat in Tzfat?

Shabbat Carlebach

1. Beirav Synagogue: (Shlomo Carlebach Mincha on Fridays with candlelighting (a word to the wise: Beirav gets VERY crowded on Friday nights, VERY quickly. Try to arrive immediately after candle-lighting in order to get a seat. Lots of room for people to stand outside, and people go in and out throughout the evening as well.) Lively Hallel services on Chol HaMoed of Pesach and Succot, Chanukah and Rosh Chodesh (morning services).
Kabbat Shabbat following Mincha
Shabbat Shacharit at 8:00a.m
Shabbat Mincha Gedolah at 1:45pm
Synagogue reopens one hour before end of Shabbat for singing and story telling, followed by Maariv and a lively musical Havdallah.

2. Artist Quarter Minyan -- Carlebach Kabbalat Shabbat, Shabbat Experience, Saturday davening and kiddush, musical havdallah. Tet Vav 45 (in the Artist Quarter, near the Ruth Rimonim Hotel)

3. Mekarev -- Haredi Carlebach. On Bar Yochai Street in the Old Jewish Quarter
