Self-Guided tour of the Alsheich Synagogue of Safed

To get to the Alsheich  Synagogue
* Start at the entrance to the Yosef Caro Lane
* Walk down the street. Pass the Yosef Caro synagogue on your left
* Turn left at the next stairway. Walk down the stairs, then left, under the arch
* Walk across the courtyard and then turn right and walk down the few remaining stairs
* Turn left on Abuhav Lane. The synagogue is about 20 meters down on your left, just past the Abuhav synagogue
