Safed English Library
The Safed English library has been a fixture of the English-speaking community in Safed for over 40 years. The library is free and functions through donations and volunteerism. It services English readers throughout the Upper Galilee as well as non-native English speakers who use the library as a resource to help them learn English.
The library is located at 37 Jerusalem Street. It is the one-story storefront with the bright giraffes mural.
Library Hours:
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Monday: 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
