The father Simcha plays the Celtic Harp, The mother Rachel plays the Turkish KamanChello and Saz, Their son Nachman plays side flute, and their daughter Orah plays the miriam frame drum. Join us for a musical journey, from ancient Turkey to inspiring songs of the 70s, mixed with stories from our life and songs from the Hallel prayer. 5. Some of the local sites that you can access by bus include:
a. Park HaMishpaha in Karmiel is free. Water fountains, huge water slides, climbing, swinging structures. Bring bathing suits. Karmiel is about 45 minutes from Tzfat. The 3611 and 364 buses from Tzfat travel to Karmiel.
b. the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai at Meron (buses 361 and 364 from the Central Bus Station leaves every 1/2 hour and pass Meron on the way to Haifa);
c. the Hula Nature Reserve (bus 511 -- 1-559-599-599)from the Central Bus Station passes by the Hula Nature Reserve on its way to Kiryat Shmoneh) -- from the road it's about a 20 minute walk into the reserve
c. Tiberias (bus 450 from the Central Bus Station goes directly to Tiberias);
e. Rosh Pinna (bus 511 from Tzfat passes through Rosh Pinna on its way to Kiryat Shmoneh);
f. Ice-skating in Ma'alot bus 367 from Tzfat
g. Canada Center (swimming and ice-skating) in Metulla (bus 511) to Kiryat Shmoneh and then a cab to Metulla;
h. Talmudic Village, Golan Winery in Katzrin -- bus 511 to Hatzor HaGlilit and then bus 53 to Katzrin
i. Nahariya, a seaside town about an hour west of Safed. Bus 367 (1-599-559-559) travels directly there and back a few times daily. Great free beach.
