The EcoGuestHouse offers visitors an opportunity to stay in the Artist Quarter of Tzfat, within a 5-minute walk of the Old Jewish Quarter, the old synagogues, the Rimonim Hotel (and pool), the International Center of Tzfat Kabbalah, artists' galleries and other historical and cultural sites.
This guestroom offers all of conveniences of a hotel with the privacy that you can only find in an individual unit. The unit has 2 rooms, and is clean, light and airy, with a SMALL shower/toilet area. The larger room has a big double bed, fridge, and coffee corner. There is air conditioning (summer) and heat (winter) and wireless connection.
*The Eco Guestroom does not serve any food.
Price: 350 shekels/night for one or two guests, 400 shekels/night for 3 or 4 guests
Ask about discounts for multi-night stays or stays during the middle of the week
The EcoGuestroom is known as the city's Green Tzimmer (Guest House). The room is fully insulated so as to need minimal heating/cooling. Plastic bottles and papers are recycled, glass bottles are redeemed for the deposit and the money is donated to the local Ethiopian community. Water is heated by solar panels and the air conditioner/heater is an energy-saving model.

Entrance and yard
The entrance is through the courtyard, where guests are welcome to sit in the shade, eat, grill, or just relax under the trees. A lovely view from the porch upstairs completes the picture, with a view of Mt. Meron and the surrounding mountains.
Critters
We have 2 dogs, Mica and Penny, and a cat, Juliette. They are are sweet and gentle, but anyone who has allergies or is fearful of animals should be aware that they are here (they live upstairs with our family but do come into the shared yard).
