To find graves of people who were buried in the Old Safed Cemetery.
There is a partial database, created by Chaim Sidor, a tour guide who spent many hours trying to decipher the writings on the old tombstones. Many tombstones are unreadable and others are not accessible or were destroyed during Safed's earthquakes. Others disintegrated after years of neglect.
